We want you to be happy with your artwork and offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are unhappy with your art, you may return it within thirty days and we will refund your money promptly. The total cost of shipping charges will not be refunded unless there was an error regarding the order on behalf of Copper Art Designs. Return shipping charges are paid by the customer. In the event that your art arrives damaged, please contact us immediately. Please do not throw away any packaging material. We will make arrangements to have the art picked up and a replacement will be shipped to you, or we will reimburse you for the purchase price of the piece.

Copper is a metal that does not react with water, but the oxygen of the air will react slowly at room temperature to form a layer of brown-black copper oxide on copper metal. (These colors may also range from light green and blue to warm tones of orange and red depending on the type of liquid the copper has come in contact with.)

It is important to note that in contrast to the oxidation of iron by wet air that the layer formed by the reaction of air with copper has a protective effect against further corrosion. On old copper roofs a green layer of copper carbonate, called verdigris, can often be seen. Another notable example of this is on the Statue of Liberty.

Though we provide home remedies that suggest how to clean your copper piece none of these procedures will refinish your copper so that it regains its original finished state.

If over time you notice that your art work has started to age in a manner that you don't particularly like we offer our services to help refinish or clean the piece to get it back to the state it was in when first purchased. If you would like your piece altered or touched up please contact us for a quote.
